Brad Pearson
Brad Pearson is a sculptor from Holdrege, Nebraska, where he was the golf course superintendent for 38 years. He is a self-taught artist and has been working in bronze since 1984.
As a charter member of the Academy of Golf Art, Pearson’s golf sculptures range from the 7-inch “Natural” to the monumental, larger-than-life-size piece of Tom Morris. “Old Tom” originally was commissioned by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America to be placed at its headquarters in Lawrence, Kansas, in honor of the association’s 75th anniversary. Subsequently, “Old Tom” was placed at the World Golf Hall of Fame, in St. Augustine, Florida, and in the British Golf Museum, in St Andrews, Scotland.
