Frankie Jones is a former PGA Class A Professional whose career gave him the opportunity to play and observe some of the most famous golf courses all over the world. His lifelong interest in artwork and golf course architecture led him to begin painting golf landscapes in 2018.

A self-taught artist under the tutelage of Michael James Smith, one of Britain’s premier landscape artists, Jones began to apply his talent to painting golf courses.

“I look to create my paintings from a player’s perspective,” Jones says. “I want golfers to see what I see in my paintings.”

Jones’s talent for painting golf landscapes was first noticed by his home course, Cedarwood Country Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was commissioned to paint two holes for display in the newly renovated clubhouse. His attention to detail for painting these courses has garnered him wide acclaim and admiration from professionals and peers alike. His preferred medium is acrylic on canvas.

Jones currently lives in Charlotte with his wife, Susan. They have two children, Mary Stewart and Michael.
